The Case/Shiller Home Price Index has once again hit record lows, with the 10-city index dropping 1.9 percent in September while the 20-city index lost 1.8 percent during the month.
That represents year-over-year drops of 18.6 percent and 17.4 percent, respectively – both new record declines.
In Atlanta, home prices dropped 1.3 percent in September alone, and are now showing a one-year decline of 9.5 percent.
